Terms of Service — The Nose's Academy

Welcome to The Nose's Academy. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to use the app.

Acceptable Use

The app is provided for personal, educational use. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, or access data that is not yours.

Educational Content

All lessons, ingredient information, and challenges are provided for educational purposes only. Fragrance materials should always be handled according to safety guidance and applicable regulations (e.g. IFRA). We are not liable for how you apply this information in practice.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the formulas, journal entries, and profile content you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to store and display that content back to you within the app. When you choose to share content publicly — a community post, a comment, or a formula shared to the Salon — you additionally grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content to other users inside the app for as long as it remains posted.

Community Conduct

The community feed and Salon are shared spaces. When posting you agree not to submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive, spam, or that infringes someone else's rights or privacy. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

You can report any post or comment and block any user directly from the app (the ⋯ menu on a post). Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24–48 hours.

Subscriptions & Purchases (Pro)

Parts of the app are offered under an optional paid membership ("Pro" / "Perfumer's Circle"):

Billing is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store — never by us directly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Auto-renewal: monthly and annual plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime in your Google Play or App Store subscription settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled before it ends.
Lifetime is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Refunds are governed by Google Play / App Store refund policies.
You can restore previous purchases from the paywall's Restore option.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. See the account deletion page for details.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
